I am pleased to announce that this year's walk will be for
ALL WOMENS' CANCERS!!
It would be wonderful if 2009 were the year a cure for breast cancer was found!
Every year, breast cancer claims more than 40,000 lives. It's likely that someone you know has been affected by it. Awareness and early detection are our best weapons in the ongoing fight against this killer.
Get involved!
Your support and involvement are so important to us and your local community. Together, we can meet our goal and make a difference in someone's life.
Many of us know women and their families whose lives are turned upside-down by breast cancer. It takes so little to do so much in this drive.
2008 Done!!! $15,457.82 raised!!!
But, the journey is not over, and will not be over until this horrible disease is wiped out!
Thus I begin my fund-raising efforts immediately for the 2009 walk because the journey is not over, “Here 4 U” has signed on again for 2009, because we have made a commitment to walk until we do not lose another woman or man.
So please, when someone asks you for a donation, take a moment and look at your Mothers, Wives, Daughters, Sisters, Nieces, and close Friends, then sign the form and give what you can, every penny adds up, and goes to the people we love and want to protect!
